Tyga is speaking out about his relationship with Kylie Jenner – and her new life. Appearing on Complex’s morning show Everyday Struggle on Wednesday, February 14, DJ Akademiks asked the rapper, “Did Kylie really f—k you up like that man?”
The rapper dated the reality star on and off for four years, and things officially ended in April 2017. “You just get older, you get me? It was a relationship in front of the world, and that was it,” Tyga, 28, responded. “She has her new life, I have my new life and that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems.”
Jenner, 20, gave birth to a baby girl, Stormi, on February 1, with new boyfriend Travis Scott. Tyga also has a child, 5-year-old King Cairo with Blac Chyna. Chyna went on to have another child, Dream Kardashian, with Jenner’s brother Rob Kardashian.
When asked if the exes have been in touch, Tyga admitted, “We communicate here and there.”
Tyga has spoken out before about his rocky romance with Jenner, admitting that they were just very different. “I think the main thing was a lot of people — a lot of outside influences — and … she’s younger than me and she’s dealing with perception. I’m older so I can deal with perception,” Tyga said in an interview with The Breakfast Club in July. “But for her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception was everything.”
He also commented at the time on her new romance with Travis Scott, saying he had no hard feelings about it. “I don’t feel no type of way,” he said. “Me and her had been broken up for like seven months. He’s not in the wrong.”
