Stop right now! Victoria Beckham revealed more juicy secrets about her days as a Spice Girl during a discussion in London on Thursday, May 5.
“[Producers] used to turn [my mic] off and just let the others sing,” Beckham, 42, said at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style at the National Portrait Gallery exhibit according to The Telegraph. “I got the last laugh, and now my mic is well — and truly on, finally.”
While her mic was turned off at moments, the massively successful fashion designer monopolized the girl group’s insane fashion closet. Well, at least the high-end designer duds.
“I was always the one that loved fashion,” Beckham recalled at the event. “It was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap. And so, there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.” She eventually went on to create a luxe label of her own, which is now a go-to line for celebs.
Along with the panel on Thursday, Beckham also enjoyed the honor of being featured in the Vogue 100 exhibit. The former pop singer shared a photo of herself and her eldest son, Brooklyn, in front of her portrait, which features the beauty with David Beckham. In the intimate throwback pic taken by beloved fashion photographer Juergen Teller, the then-pregnant Victoria and David cuddle on a carpeted floor.
“Thank u to everyone who came to hear me speak tonight,” she wrote. “This Juergen Teller shot of myself and David brings back memories!! I was pregnant with Brooklyn!!! I love u @brooklynbeckham @davidbeckham.”
The teen, who was at the gallery to support his mom on Thursday, posted the same image on his Instagram, and wrote: “So proud listening to my mum speak tonight.”
The 17-year-old aspiring photographer made headlines of his own on Friday, May 6, after his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Chloë Grace Moretz, finally confirmed their relationship on social media. He is one of four Beckham kids, including Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, 4.
