No need for that embarrassed face emoji. Orlando Bloom is totally chill about the paparazzi pics of him paddleboarding completely naked, and girlfriend Katy Perry (who opted to stay in her bikini) is too.
The Lord of the Rings star, 39, was spotted stripping down on a beach in Sardinia, Italy, on Wednesday, August 3. The photos ran on the cover of the U.K.’s Daily Star with nothing but an embarrassed face emoji covering his bulge, and left the entire world drooling over his chiseled body.
But it was a shadow on Bloom’s thigh that really got the internet talking and seemed to prove he’s pretty well-endowed. Social media users went crazy looking for the uncensored version of the pics and making memes of the moment.
However, a source tells Us Weekly that the couple isn’t bothered by the situation. “[Orlando] finds the whole thing amusing,” the insider says. Bloom even joked that they made the black rectangle the right size, referring to the New York Daily News’ version of the photos, which had a large black box over his whole downstairs region.
Although the pop superstar, 31, chose not to ditch her swimsuit during the beach vacay, the source tells Us she doesn’t mind that her boyfriend bared it all. “This isn’t something that would annoy her,” the source adds.
Bloom and Perry have been dating since they hit it off at the 2016 Golden Globes in January. They’ve since taken several trips together. In May, they were spotted getting cozy on a yacht in Cannes and attending the film festival. Just last week, Bloom adorably supported the “Rise” singer during her performance at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and filmed the whole thing from the audience.
Prior to their romance, Perry dated John Mayer on and off before splitting for good in 2015. She was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was married to Miranda Kerr for three years, but the pair called it quits in 2013. They share a 5-year-old son, Flynn.
