Natalie Portman has been dating French musician Tanguy Destable since 2025.
“Natalie is very happy with Tanguy,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2025, with a second insider revealing that the pair were “having a great time together” after meeting through mutual friends.
Portman started dating Destable following her 2024 divorce from Benjamin Millepied. The Oscar-winning actress announced in April 2026 that she is expecting her third baby, her first with Destable.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in a profile. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle. … I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”

Natalie Portman and Tanguy Destable were first romantically linked in March 2025.
“Natalie and Tanguy have been seeing each other for a few months,” a source told Us at the time, noting that Destable is “very outgoing and boisterous” and “really into” Portman.
Tanguy Destable Is a Musician
Tanguy Destable is a French musician and record producer.
“It’s already evolving so much day after day,” he told Harder Blogger Faster in 2017 about the music industry. “I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Destable often records music from his studio in Paris, telling the outlet that his Roland Jupiter 8 synthesizer is among his most prized possessions.
“It was given to me by my godfather 10 years ago,” he explained. “I’ve been taking real good care of it ever since. It’s almost on all of my tracks!”
Destable produced the score of the 2024 Oscar-nominated film I’m Still Here and has worked with artists including Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. He also makes original music under the stage name Tepr.
“I think I did come back to the real me, which is making dance music with a lot of harmonies, a lot of melodies, too mainstream for the indie scene, and too indie for the mainstream,” he told Billboard in 2017 of his EP Inquisifunk. “Everyone was screaming around me ‘just do your thing.’ I thought, ‘Maybe I am just stressing out too much, and you just have to do what you like.’”
Tanguy Destable Has 2 Children
Tanguy Destable was previously married to French actress Louise Bourgoin, with whom he shares two sons. The artist even dedicated his 2017 song “Hello E” to their firstborn.
“He was born a year ago, and I wanted to welcome him,” Destable told Billboard in 2017. “I’ve always been super into melodies, huge sounds, and arpeggiated harmonies. I wanted this song to be like the end title, and I think it finishes the EP in a nice way. [Inquisifunk is] like a roller-coaster, you have a lot of flavor, a lot of emotions, a lot of different feelings while listening to it.”
News broke in April 2026 that Destable and Natalie Portman are expecting their first baby together. (Portman also shares two children with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.)
“There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp,” Portman told Harper’s Bazaar in April 2026. “There’s a calm and knowing myself [in] who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. Knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”
