Zelda Williams, the daughter of late actor Robin Williams, shared her heartbreak via Twitter on Tuesday, Sept. 29, over the pain of losing another person to suspected suicide after news broke of the death of Jim Carrey’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Cathriona White.
Heartbroken to continue to watch sweet, kind souls be consumed by darkness. May it never hurt less, so we never grow numb to the loss.

Pieta House is a suicide prevention center based in Ireland, where the makeup artist was born.
White, 30, was found dead inside her home in L.A.'s Sherman Oaks neighborhood on Monday night, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed to Entertainment Tonight. Police also confirmed to the outlet that a note had been found.
On Monday, White had tweeted, “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”
Zelda, 26, lost her comedian father when he committed suicide at age 63 in August 2014. The Oscar-winning actor’s widow, Susan, later revealed that he had been battling severe depression, and had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s shortly before his death.
Not long after his death, the actress tweeted a message in tribute to her father, which White marked.

Carrey, 53, confirmed White’s death to Us Weekly on Tuesday, Sept. 29. “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona,” the actor said in a statement. “She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being love was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bold.”
