RIP Midnight. Zendaya posted an emotional message about the death of her childhood dog via Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
“My baby went to heaven today. Thank you for being one of the most loyal men in my life, for loving me unconditionally and for cuddling me when ever I needed,” the “Replay” singer, 19, captioned a pic of the pup. “I don’t know if you ever understood me when I told you but I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
In the snapshot, the black schnauzer sweetly looked at the camera, with Zendaya appearing to pet him under his chin.
“We’ve been together since I was 8 and I’m not really sure how to get use to a house without your cute paws clinking around,” Zendaya added, “but thank you for every second of love you gave us. Give Poppi a kiss for me up there.”
The former Disney star also retweeted a photo that her mother, Claire Stoermer, posted of the family’s furry member.
“Said goodbye 2 my baby Midnight…11 years of unconditional love,” Stoermer tweeted early Tuesday. “My [heart] is broken but I know he’s at peace.”
