Prior to that, the drummer for The Strokes had dated her friend Drew Barrymore for five years, but the two went their separate ways in 2007. In 2012, Barrymore opened up to Allure about her good friend and SNL alum dating her ex and said: “It all seems so wacky and incestuous, but that's kind of how life works. It seems fitting that they would find each other. I was like, 'Right, of course, that makes perfect sense.'"

Prior to their public feud, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were friends. Though their friendship is not what it once was, the pop stars still have one thing in common — they both dated singer John Mayer. Mayer and Swift dated in 2009, and Perry dated the “Still Feel Like Your Man” crooner on and off for years since they were first spotted together in August 2012.

In 2014, Us Weekly broke the news that he had started dating their mutual friend, Nikki Reed, and the pair ended up getting married and having a child together. After dating Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid moved on to a new relationship with Zayn Malik. The two singers had been photographed together during Paris Fashion Week in 2015, and when Us first reported in November of that year that the model was dating the “Dusk Till Dawn” singer, Jonas unfollowed Hadid on Twitter and deleted the photo with the former One Direction guy from his Instagram. Yikes!
