Her golden year is here! Jennifer Aniston turned 50 years old on Monday, February 11. The Dumplin’ star celebrated two days early, on February 9, with a star-studded celebration attended by Reese Witherspoon, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katy Perry, Chelsea Handler, Robert Downey Jr. and more of her famous friends. One very special — and unexpected — guest also joined the mix: her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star, 55, hugged his former wife and presented her with a card, an onlooker tells Us. Pitt wasn’t the only one of her exes in attendance. John Mayer, who was linked to the Friends alum in 2008, also made an appearance. Before the big bash, a source told Us that Aniston planned to celebrate with both a party and a vacation. “She originally didn’t want to celebrate her birthday with a ‘party’ and prefers the idea of a trip away, but her friends and family said she should do both,” explained the insider. It makes sense that so many A-listers turned out to celebrate the Horrible Bosses star. “Jen has this glow about her,” an industry source tells Us Weekly. “Being near her, it’s literally like being near sunshine. Jen knows how to make people feel special … She doesn’t act self-important, but realizes she’s important. She is very low-key and very sweet. She acknowledges staff … from the production assistant … to the executives and everyone in between.” Ahead of the milestone, Us asked some of Aniston’s Hollywood pals to share their birthday wishes for the actress.
