Christian Louboutin launches a line of nude ballet flats for every skintone.

One for all, and all for one! Christian Louboutin is launching a line of pointed-toe ballet flats in seven different nude shades, from porcelain to olive to chocolate.

Crafted from matte nappa, the Solasofia flat ($595, christianlouboutin.com) is designed to disappear on the foot, making it all about the legs. So it is fitting that all seven shoes appear in a leg-focused, ballet-inspired ad campaign, shot by Sofia et Mauro.

“The nude collection is dedicated to people who want to have great legs, to have a great silhouette. Not necessarily to emphasize the shoe,” Louboutin tells Us Weekly. “If you look at the shoe, it looks good, if you don’t look at the shoe, if you don’t see the details, it’s all about the legs; it’s all about the person.”

Louboutin, who counts Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart and Emma Stone among his many celebrity fans, added styling advice, too. “It’s great for when you are just thinking of yourself, when you’re not thinking of being dressed. It keeps you undressed in a way,” he shared.

Of course, this isn’t the legendary French shoe designer’s first foray into creating nude shoes for everyone. He previously released the Pigalle Follies stiletto, the Iriza half d’Orsay pump and the Señora T-strap heel in a spectrum of skintoned shades.
