A Hooters calendar girl from Florida has been identified as the second victim of a fatal McLaren crash in Orange County, California, that also killed car influencer James Wehr.

Alexis “Lexi” Kramer and Wehr, 27, died in the supercar after it ran into a tree and split in half around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 13. Lexi’s sister, Gracie Kramer, confirmed to the California Post that the model, 22, was the second fatality.

Gracie said that Lexi had traveled to California from Lakeland, Florida, to meet Wehr on Friday, September 11. Wehr was said to be in the process of separating from his wife, Emma Wehr, at the time he met with Lexi.

James and Lexi reportedly had their first date over the weekend and spent the whole weekend getting to know each other over breakfast and drinks. Gracie also said that Lexi attended Wehr’s world-famous car show before the fatal crash.

Lexi and James met over Instagram and talked for about one month before they met in person, according to Gracie.

Gracie claimed James told Lexi his marriage to Emma was over and that they would soon be divorced. However, she told the outlet she had doubts that James was completely truthful about the status of his marriage.

“[He] talked to her every day all the time and finally got her to fly out to California to come see him,” Gracie said, adding that Lexi had a passion for “American muscle cars and motorcycles.”

Gracie said that her sister “loved the car community, so it’s such a tragedy that that’s what ended her.”

“As you can imagine, this was very shocking and hard. She was kind and funny and charismatic, and I’ve had so many people reach out and share their wonderful experiences with Lexi,” Gracie continued. “That man lied to my sister and said his divorce was finalizing and he was fully separated. [He] talked to her every day all the time and finally got her to fly out to California to come see him.”

As Us previously reported, the Irvine Police Department confirmed in a press release that it had “received calls of a traffic collision involving a vehicle on fire at Culver Drive and Deerfield Avenue [early Sunday]. IPD and the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene. After OCFA extinguished the fire, two people were found dead inside the vehicle.”

Police said that the accident occurred when the driver of a 2019 McLaren “lost control of their vehicle” while traveling “northbound at a high speed.” The vehicle “struck a curb and a tree” before it “split in two and caught fire.”
