Jersey Shore alum Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex Jen Harley has been arrested for alleged domestic violence.
Harley, 39, was reportedly arrested by Florida’s Sunny Isles Beach Police on Saturday, October 10, Starcasm reported on Tuesday, October 13. She was booked in Miami-Dade County on a misdemeanor charge of battery/domestic violence.
Harley reportedly spent two nights in jail before her release on Monday, October 12, after posting a $1,000 bond, according to court records viewed by the outlet. She reportedly entered a written plea of not guilty.
Harley’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8.
The identity of the alleged victim has not been publicly revealed at the time of publication. A stay away order was reportedly put in place, according to Starcasm, but the order was “pre-trial conditional allowing contact.”
Harley denied the domestic violence accusations in an Instagram comment on a post from MTV Reality Tea reporting the arrest.
“I repeat I am completely innocent of the allegations made against me!” she wrote on Tuesday.
Harley also shared two cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories in between a series of glammed-up photos and videos.
“Never be afraid to lose what you aren’t meant to have,” one post read, while another message added, “Every day I fight the urge to not go on a Kanye [West] rant and set the record straight about a lot of s***.”
Harley and Ortiz-Magro, 40, dated on and off from 2017 to 2019 and share 8-year-old daughter Ariana. Their tumultuous relationship was documented on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which included domestic altercations.
Harley — who also shares son Mason, 20, ex-husband Joshua Rogers and son Jayden, 3, with Joe Ambrosole — was previously arrested on domestic violence charges in 2018 after she was accused of dragging Ortiz-Magro with her car while their infant daughter was in the backseat. The Clark County District Attorney ultimately chose not to press charges due to insufficient evidence.
The following year, Harley was arrested for domestic battery following a New Year’s Eve altercation at a club where she allegedly threw an ashtray at Ortiz-Magro’s face. The case was voluntarily dismissed by prosecutors.
In 2021, Harley was arrested after Ambrosole reported that she punched him, threw his cell phone out of a car window and pointed a gun at him. She was formally charged with a felony count of assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor count of battery constituting domestic violence. The case was dismissed after Harley checked herself into a rehabilitation facility to seek treatment for alcohol dependency.
