Taylor Parker has been on death row since 2022, but she recently made headlines after her crimes were documented in Netflix’s Maternal Instinct. Nearly six years after her arrest, the full 911 call she made where she claimed she gave birth on the side of the road has been released.

In the call obtained by TMZ on Friday, June 26, Parker, 33, insisted she was going into labor on the side of the road. “I need an ambulance because I started having my baby,” Parker said, adding that a state trooper was behind her and had pulled her over.

Parker appeared desperate and scared as the dispatcher repeatedly told her to stay on the line.

She then told the trooper and the dispatcher that she was starting to deliver the baby in her car while parked on the side of the road and that she needed an ambulance.

While she said she started to give birth on the side of the road during the call, the baby was already in her lap by the time the trooper arrived, according to body cam footage.

Authorities later learned that Parker had faked her pregnancy and killed her pregnant friend Reagan Simmons-Hancock. Following the killing, she performed a C-section on Simmons-Hancock, 21, and fled the scene with her baby, Braxlynn Sage Hancock. It was then that she called 911 to claim that she had given birth to the child.

Parker was later transported to the hospital, where doctors quickly determined that she had not given birth. An officer was on hand to interview her and she was arrested in connection to Simmons-Hancock’s death that same day.

She claimed she was pregnant just months into her whirlwind romance with Wade Griffin in early 2020. While their relationship initially seemed great, Griffin’s family later grew skeptical of Parker as the end of her pregnancy neared.

Parker’s alleged due date was on September 22, 2020, and she killed Simmons-Hancock weeks later on October 9, 2020.

The case went to trial in 2022 and Parker was found guilty of capital murder and kidnapping. She was sentenced to death and is currently the youngest woman in Texas on death row.

While many of the people involved in the case appeared in Maternal Instinct, director Jessica Dimmock revealed she had no plans to include Parker in the documentary.

“We decided not to interview Taylor,” Dimmock, 48, told Oxygen in an interview published on June 18. Instead, she said that she and her production decided they wanted to tell the story from the perspective of Parker’s victims and those who witnessed her horrific crimes firsthand.

“Obviously, Reagan and her family are the most severe and the biggest victims in this, but [there are] other people that she deceived, other people that she hurt along the way, coworkers, former friends,” the filmmaker continued.
