We could watch this on repeat. Alexander Skarsgard chatted with Us Weekly Video and made Us swoon while describing his costar Margot Robbie’s modern take on Tarzan’s damsel in distress, Jane, in their new flick The Legend of Tarzan.
“Their relationship is very different from most of the old iterations of the movie,” the True Blood hunk, 39, explained to Us. “Jane is not a victim. You can feel that he needs her as much as she needs him.”
Skarsgard unfortunately covered up his washboard abs for the interview, but still looked unequivocally handsome in a brown polo shirt.
The costars had the chance to visit a gorilla sanctuary to help prepare for their roles, and Skarsgard’s account of the opportunity was equally swoon-worthy.
“[It] was just the most incredible experience. When the silverback gorilla locks eyes with you, it’s so beautiful and it feels like they see through all your bulls–t and can see straight into your soul.”
(Yeah, we could get lost in the actor’s soulful blue eyes too.)
