Rory is finally back! Alexis Bledel reunited with her onscreen grandmother Kelly Bishop on the set of Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival on Thursday, March 17.
The adorable moment was caught by Roadies actor Tanc Sade, who will reprise his role as Finn on the show. “Quick snap w/ @alexisbledel #KellyBishop,” he wrote via Twitter. “Sorry it’s so fuzzy. #gilmoregirls #rorygilmore #gg @GilmoreWords.”
Bledel, 34, and Bishop, 72, have been busy working on the four highly anticipated 90-minute episodes. Others stars who will return to their roles include Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Liza Weil (Paris Geller), Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano), Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger) and leading lady Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore).

Graham also appeared to be filming this week. “Your bday wishes yesterday were the sweetest,” the Parenthood alum tweeted on Thursday, one day after her 49th birthday. “And that I got to read them in between saying Lorelai words was surreal/wonderful. Thanks!”
The original beloved series ran for seven seasons, from 2000 to 2007, and left many unanswered questions (will Rory choose Dean, Jess or Logan?!) when it was unexpectedly canceled. Last week, however, a set photo revealed that a wedding may be on the way for someone in Stars Hollow.
“We took a tour of Warner Bros studio today and saw Stars Hollow but couldn’t take pics,” GG fan Jordan McKamie captioned a photo of a sign that read “wedding” near set. “But we did see this in the prop storage!! #spoiler!!! #wedding? #gilmoregirlsrevival #wbtourhollywood #hollywood#california #gilmoregirls #jessforever.”
