Put a pot of coffee on and break out your pop-culture references, because Gilmore Girls is officially back! And though there’s still that weird, seemingly uncomfortable tension between Melissa McCarthy and showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino, there’s still plenty to celebrate as fans anxiously await the Netflix reboot of the beloved mother-daughter dramedy.
Thankfully, the cast understands just how excited Stars Hollow devotees are and have teased the revival with a slew of adorable social media posts.
Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) confirmed the reboot news with a sweet selfie, holding up a costume piece she nipped from the set.

“I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it’s time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work. @netflix #GilmoreGirls,” the Parenthood actress captioned the shot on Friday, January 29.
But Graham wasn’t the only one with a virtual gift for fans. Her onscreen love Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) gave Twitter followers a sneak peek at his signature flannel wardrobe.

“Luke’s Diner open for business! #LukeDanes,” Patterson captioned a close-up shot of his shirt with the Luke’s Diner logo.
And while the fate of Sookie is still up in the air, the high-strung Michel will definitely be returning to pester the inn’s guests.
Actor Yanic Truesdale tweeted a photo with his “Michel” nameplate next to a bouquet of flowers, writing, “Happy to be back and reconnect with my old pal Michel. Feeling blessed and excited! #GilmoreGirls.”

Other Stars Hollow regulars also came out of the woodwork (a.k.a. Weston’s Bakery) to show that they are on board with the reboot. Sean Gunn, who plays the lovable, accident-prone Kirk, Instagrammed a photo of himself holding up an iPad with the news that the show had been picked up by Netflix.
“Okay. I’m in. #gilmoregirls,” he captioned the shot on January 30.
And though Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) hasn’t publicly spoken out about the project, her onscreen bestie Keiko Agena (Lane Kim) is all about the new Netflix series.
“Its confirmed! The one, the only, the incredible Amy Sherman-Palladino (and Dan Palladino) are bringing back #GilmoreGirls and I am a part of it. Pinch Me,” she captioned a shot with the show creator.
Prior to the official announcement, Agena also posed with producer Helen Pai, teasing the news.
“With the REAL LIFE Lane Kim, Helen Pai. 🙂 Good things are coming…” she wrote.
