Are a few more pairs headed for beachside bliss? It appears that Bachelor in Paradise is set to continue its streak of creating long-term couples, with Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss tweeting on Tuesday, June 28, that there will be a number of engagements on the ABC dating series for season 3.
Fleiss initially hinted at the news with a tweet that teased "truly shocking" information on Monday, June 27.
"I have truly shocking BIP news to announce!!!" he wrote. "Trying to get clearance to possibly hold a press conference tomorrow … #TheBachelorette"
The hoped-for press conference appears not to have materialized, so Fleiss resorted to the next best method: Twitter.
"Multiple engagements!!! #BachelorInParadise," he tweeted Tuesday.
A few hours later, he added: "I bet that at least one of our #BachelorInParadise engaged couples will get married.…"
This would certainly not be the first time that a Bachelor in Paradise couple has tied the knot. Last season began with season 1 lovebirds Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul's nuptials. Plus, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert got hitched in January after meeting on the show's second season, with the ceremony airing on ABC on Valentine's Day.
Us Weekly has previously reported that some of this season's participants will include JoJo Fletcher's hotheaded castoff Chad Johnson, two-time Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall, and Bachelor season 20 contestants Amanda Stanton, Jubilee Sharpe and Lace Morris.
