Just how irresistible is Nick Viall among the Bachelor Nation ladies? The Bachelorette season 12 star JoJo Fletcher spoke to reporters during a conference call on Friday, May 20, where she opened up for the first time about rumors of sparks between her and the two-time Bachelorette runner-up.
Fletcher, 25, was left brokenhearted after Ben Higgins broke up with her and proposed to Lauren Bushnell in the Bachelor season 20 finale that aired in March. Her season as the rose distributor premieres Monday, May 23.
During the Friday press event, the real estate developer was asked whether there was any truth to rumors that she made a romantic connection with Viall, 35 — who came in second on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s seasons — after things ended with Higgins. Additionally, Fletcher weighed in on claims made by ex-boyfriend Chad Rookstool — who she received flowers from during a Bachelor episode — that she hooked up with him after she ended her Bachelor stint.
“The tabloid that came out about Chad is completely false,” Fletcher said. “I had no idea that he had done that until kind of later on. So those were very untrue. And I’ve decided to completely put that in my past and not think about it again.”
“And the Nick rumors are absolutely not true as well,” she added with a laugh.
The Bachelorette season 12 premiere airs on ABC Monday, May 23, at 8 p.m. ET.
