The stunning photo, which was released on Wednesday, November 2, shows Watson, 26, and Stevens, 34, reenacting the iconic ballroom dance scene from the 1991 animated Disney movie.
The Harry Potter actress looks gorgeous as she transforms into Belle in the beloved character's signature yellow ball gown, designed by Jacqueline Durran. However, unlike her animated counterpart, Watson goes without the long yellow gloves that Belle famously wore with the dress.
The Downton Abbey actor, meanwhile, looks completely unrecognizable as the Beast. Clad in a blue suit with regal gold details, he has large horns atop his wild mane, and his furry legs visibly stick out from the bottom of his dashing ensemble.
"I can't even think how many times I watched [the animated movie] as a child," Watson told EW. "I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart."
This is the first time fans have had a full glimpse of Watson's and Stevens' characters. Earlier this year, a teaser trailer revealed Watson as Belle but didn't show any of her memorable costumes.
The live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast also stars Luke Evans as Belle's self-obsessed suitor, Gaston, and Josh Gad as Gaston's sidekick, Le Fou. Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson and Ian McKellen also provide voices for Lumière, Cadenza, Mrs. Potts and Cogsworth, respectively.
Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on Friday, March 17, 2017.
