Watch out, Justin Theroux! Jennifer Aniston has one seriously devoted admirer.
Billy Bob Thornton revealed his crush on the Friends alum after the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11. Thornton, 59, caught up with Access Hollywood after nabbing the statue for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Fargo, and was asked about Aniston, 45.
Access Hollywood hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover asked Thornton to play a game of “Would you rather…?” as a nod to an earlier move from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s Golden Globes opening.
“Who would you rather… Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon?” Hoover asked.
It was then that Thornton revealed his affinity for Aniston — a woman to whom he has complicated personal ties. The Parkland actor was in a headline-making, intense marriage to Angelina Jolie for two years in the early 2000s, before they divorced and she famously moved on to Aniston’s then-husband Brad Pitt.
“Jennifer Aniston,” the star quickly responded, requiring just seconds to make his choice. “Lifelong goal…” he added jokingly. “That’s all I’m saying.”
Asked about his choice between Keira Knightley and Aniston, Thornton maintained his love for the Cake star, saying, “Jennifer Aniston. How many times does it take you for you to get this through your head?”
