Get ready for another TLC breakout star named Kate.
Breaking Amish's Kate Stoltzfus, the aspiring model who made waves on season one of the reality TV smash, is hoping to land her own spinoff series, a show insider tells Us Weekly exclusively.
"Kate hates her cast mates from Breaking Amish," the source explains of costars Abe Schmucker, Rebecca Byler, Sabrina High and Jeremiah Raber. "She has no camaraderie with them, she can't really relate anymore. She has big dreams and they aren't in line with everyone else."
As revealed on the Sunday Nov. 18 reunion episode, Stoltzfus has been hard at work putting her life back in order: Completing alcohol education classes and wrapping up her probation stemming from a Florida DUI arrest just before Breaking Amish filming began. "I'm trying to get everything in my past and move on," she said at the reunion.
Indeed, says the source: "She is still currently waiting tables in Florida, but she moves to NYC [soon] and is SO excited about it!" The insider adds that Stolzfus's team is advising her "not to participate in any more [seasons of] Breaking Amish" and land "a spin-off about her modeling career." (TLC has no comment on this story; the network has yet to announce a second season of Breaking Amish or any plans for a spinoff.)
On the season one finale, the beauty did a shoot for a Spiegel catalog. "Her team has their fingers crossed on the spin-off," the source says. Some proposed scenarios? "Visits to a plastic surgeon, more photo shoots, meeting with designers, a make-over," explains the source, "the whole shebang!"
