The Late Late Show host, 38, returned to Los Angeles to film the latest round of his beloved sing-along sketch, just two days after he was photographed shooting with Madonna in New York City. Both Corden and Mars, 31, were seen rocking the singer's signature white hat and sunglasses as they drove around L.A. in the late-night host's black Range Rover.
Mars shared a picture with Corden on Instagram on Saturday, November 19, captioning it, "When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object @j_corden Thanks for the lift."
Although an airdate has yet to be announced, social media users are already speculating which songs the four-time Grammy winner will sing. It is likely that he'll treat viewers to tunes from his new album, 24K Magic, which was released on Friday, in addition to previous hits including "Locked Out of Heaven," "Treasure" and "Uptown Funk."
Mars joins a long list of A-list stars who've joined Corden for Carpool Karaoke, including Britney Spears, Michelle Obama, Adele, Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey. Lady Gaga was the most recent to take a drive with the comedian, wowing fans with incredible performances of singles such as "Million Reasons," "Bad Romance" and "Born This Way."
Tell Us: Which songs do you want Mars to perform on Carpool Karaoke?
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs on CBS weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET.
