Open your car to me! Madonna and James Corden are getting ready to express themselves in an upcoming round of Carpool Karaoke, with the pop icon announcing on Instagram on Wednesday, November 16, that she would soon be taking part in the buzzy bit.
This time around, the Late Late Show segment — which features popular stars belting out hit tunes during a ride with Corden — will be filmed in New York City, as opposed to Los Angeles, where the show typically shoots. An air date has not yet been revealed for the episode.
“Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love @latelateshow carpool karaoke,” Madonna wrote on Instagram, adding in car, heart and fire emojis. The caption accompanied a pic of the pair getting silly together.

The “Express Yourself” singer, 58, is the latest in a long line of big-name stars to join Corden for a music-fueled drive. Britney Spears, Adele, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama, Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez have all ridden shotgun for previous iterations.
Lady Gaga was the most recent participant, singing such tunes as “Bad Romance,” “Edge of Glory,” “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “Perfect Illusion.”
Madonna’s fans clearly couldn’t get enough of the news, taking to Twitter to share their excitement about seeing the star, who is likely to use the late-night appearance to promote her upcoming Showtime concert special, Madonna: Rebel Heart Tour, airing Friday, December 9.
