As Caitlyn Jenner continues to navigate her coming out process as a transgender woman, the topic of dating is going to come up. For Jenner, that’s on Sunday’s episode of I Am Cait. During a chat with her friends, including model/actress Candis Cayne, Jenner confirms that yes, she’s still only been with women, and that frankly, she’s not all that interested in dating right now.
“I know for a fact you’ve said many times that you’ve only been attracted to women,” Jenner’s friend Chandi Moore says in a preview from the Aug. 9 episode.
“I’ve only been with women,” Jenner then clarified. “I have bigger things than an orgasm to worry about. I have bigger things to worry about than an orgasm. I don’t know. I’ve never been with a guy.”
The 65-year-old Olympic standout has long been vocal about her worry over navigating the transgender landscape since first sharing her coming out story in Vanity Fair. “I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story,” Jenner blogged in July. “To me, that’s always the biggest question: am I doing it right?”
Support has been crucial to Jenner’s journey, and one of her biggest allies turned friends is Laverne Cox. “Caitlyn looks amazing and is beautiful but what I think is most beautiful about her is her heart and soul,” the Orange Is the New Black star blogged in an emotional Tumblr post in June. “The ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities. The love and devotion she has for her family and that they have for her. Her courage to move past denial into her truth so publicly. These things are beyond beautiful to me.”
