Carl Radke offered a cryptic reaction to his ex Lindsay Hubbard hooking up with Below Deck star Joe Bradley.
“You’ll see next season on Summer House, and possibly on Below Deck, some other things [that happened],” Carl, 41, hinted to Page Six‘s “Virtual Reali-Tea” in an interview published on Thursday, October 15. “We were talking and doing our own thing. [Lindsay] was wing-manning [for me]. I was wing-manning [for her]. Which is fun because when we were friends, that’s what we did. We hyped each other up, had each other’s backs.”
He added, “Where we are right now, it’s so good. The chemistry we’ve always had is great. But now as friends it is so cohesive.”
Carl confirmed that Lindsay has been “talking to someone else” while he’s been focusing on his career.
Asked directly by host Danny Murphy if Lindsay, 40, has “been talking to” Below Deck heartthrob Joe, Carl replied, “Quite possibly!”
Us exclusively reported earlier this week that Lindsay and Joe have been “hooking up” for “a little over a month now” after meeting at a Bravo event.
“They aren’t dating and Lindsay is having fun,” an insider told Us.
This source hinted that the two revisited their connection when the Summer House cast filmed a crossover with Below Deck, which will air next year.
“They spent a lot of time together this summer filming,” the insider disclosed. “Joe was also with Lindsay filming for In The City.”
However, the insider suggested that it’s “not serious” between the two because Lindsay is just “having fun.”
Us reached out to Bravo for comment.
As for Lindsay and Carl, their rekindled friendship has grown leaps and bounds since he infamously called off their engagement weeks before their wedding in August 2023. (An insider told Us that the former couple’s split had been a “long time coming for Carl.”)
In July, Lindsay laughed off the idea of ever getting back together with Carl during an exclusive cover story interview with Us.
“That was, like, another 10 lifetimes ago,” she quipped. “God bless Carl, love the guy as a friend.”
Lindsay credited a “very important, much-needed, much overdue conversation” with Carl at the end of Summer House season 10 as being crucial to the exes rekindling their friendship.
“I don’t think either of us really realized how much we needed that because we just never talked about anything after he broke up with me,” she noted.
Carl told Us that same month that he firmly believed he and Lindsay are “better off as friends” given the explosive nature of their breakup.
“Have I really enjoyed doing some of these fun brand things with her or spending more time with her? Absolutely,” he said. “Is there a chemistry that we have? Absolutely. But I think for the time being, friends is the best place for us.”
