Summer should be fun — and that’s exactly how Carl Radke hopes Summer House season 11 will play out.
“I mean, [I am] in the mix part two, just having fun,” Carl, 41, exclusively told Us on Thursday, July 30, while promoting his partnership with Celsius’ new Spritz Vibe Summer Edition flavor. “A lot of our friends, everybody’s single at the same time. It’s, like, single, summer, spritz; send it.”
He continued, “I think everybody’s just trying to enjoy, kind of, this single summer [because] I don’t think any of us have found ourselves quite like in this situation before. It’s been a lot of fun, a lot of just in the mix.”
Carl and his Summer House costars were admittedly caught off guard in March when Amanda Batula, then-newly separated from husband Kyle Cooke, confirmed her casual romance with West Wilson. While Amanda, 34, and West, 31, downplayed any relationship overlap, the news especially stunned Ciara Miller, who previously dated the sports journalist on and off and had been close with Amanda.
Us previously confirmed that neither West nor Amanda would return for season 11, which is currently in production. In their absence, Carl hinted to Us that the drama hasn’t put a damper on the summer.
“I think the vibes are high,” he revealed on Thursday. “Everybody, I think, is just trying to enjoy the summer. Everybody’s got a lot of stuff going on, which is really a blessing. Everybody’s been really busy, but we’ve had a lot of fun so far. The vibes are as high as they can be, so no notes right now.”
In between his Bravo filming commitments, Carl teamed up with Celsius, which debuted its newest flavor, Spritz Vibe Summer Edition: Sparkling Limoncello Twist, at a Summer Spritz Aperitivo Hour party earlier this week.
“I mean, we love the summertime, and … since getting sober, I haven’t had limoncello to drink because they don’t have a nonalcoholic version. This is the closest I can get to a good nonalcoholic limoncello,” Carl said of his partnership on Thursday. “I don’t drink alcohol, [and] I love having energy drinks to, kind of, give me a boost whether it’s working out or for having a good time in the summer. Celsius has been a great, great brand.”
The Bravo star has been sober since 2020, launching his own Soft Bar five years later. (Soft Bar, which is based in Brooklyn, only serves nonalcoholic mocktails, coffee and tea.)
“Things are good. We’re going to be coming up on one year in about a month,” he told Us. “We’re very close to hitting that one-year anniversary, which is significant and exciting. I’m really proud of everything we built here, and I’ve got an amazing team. I don’t do this alone. I’ve got [an] incredible general manager and operations, my bartending and baristas team. We’ve got a cook downstairs, Magda, who’s awesome. I’ve got a really great team of people that have come together that really believe in what we’re building and the mission we stand for. It’s really been a blessing.”
Summer House season 11 does not currently have a premiere date.
