From Gossip Girl to Glee! Chace Crawford will appear on the hit fox series' special 100th episode, a source confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday, Jan. 10 — and he's playing a love interest!

The insider tells Us that the actor "will play Dianna Agron's boyfriend, whom she brings back to Lima to meet her friends."

While the hunky star, best known for his role as Nate Archibald on CW series Gossip Girl, has plenty of experience acting, the insider says unlike the rest of the cast, "his character will not be singing — as of now." As E! News reported Friday, Jan. 10, Crawford has a role on the show's 100th episode, which will air in two parts on March 18 and the following Tuesday.

"Chace is excited to work with [series co-creator] Ryan Murphy and his longtime friend Matthew Morrison," the insider tells Us. "He knows most of the other cast as well."

Former Glee stars expected to return for the special episode include Kristin Chenoweth (April), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Heather Morris (Brittany), and Mark Salling (Puck).

THR also reported Friday morning that Gwyneth Paltrow will return in her Emmy-winning role as substitute teacher, Holly Holliday, in the show's 100th episode. (Another spoiler: Morrison revealed to E! that he and Chenoweth will be singing a Pink song together.)
