Earlier this week, CMA Fest shared that an estimated 100,000 people attended this year’s event each day to witness unforgettable moments, including Florida Georgia Line’s reunion and Jelly Roll’s surprise set.

Us Weekly was on the ground for the 2026 festival, talking to Pearce, 36, Wetmore, 26, Kelsea Ballerini, Melissa Etheridge and more country stars who were in attendance from June 4 to 7.

“[It was] nerve-racking,” Wetmore admitted to Us after his performance on night one. “I felt joyful. I felt blessed. I felt excited. Maybe a little too excited. It was crazy.”

CMA Fest is already scheduled to return to Nashville for its 54th annual event from June 10 to 13, 2027.

CMA Fest Presented by SoFi airs on ABC Thursday, June 25, at 8 p.m. ET and streams on Hulu the next day.
