The first one bites the dust! Following the season 19 premiere of Dancing With the Stars on Monday, the 13 contestants were narrowed down to 12 during the Tuesday, Sept. 16 live results show.

As the previous season’s stars learned the hard way, the judges’ scores aren’t the only thing moving these contestants forward. Viewers votes are also combined with last night’s scores for the official numbers. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and former DWTS dance pro Julianne Hough dished out their criticism and praise on Monday night, encouraging this new group as they worked their way through foxtrots, jives, cha chas, and more.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro landed the top score of the night for his jive with pro Witney Carson, earning a 36 out of 40. Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson came in a close second with a score of 34 for her cha cha with pro Mark Ballas

Olympian Lolo Jones received the lowest score of the night for her cha cha with new pro Keo Motsepe, earning a 22 out of 40.

“It was awful, I’m surprised I was able to get back on. Every practice was better than that, I am so mad,” the clearly peeved athlete said following her performance. “I honestly expected them to give me ones.”

Ultimately, the track star was sent home, losing to designer Betsey Johnson.

"I wouldn't have had it any other way. I know Betsey had the malfunction with the boa and she deserves to stay," Jones told co-host Erin Andrews.
