It’s more than alright! Dennis Haskins, who starred on Saved by the Bell as principal Mr. Belding, graduated college on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the age of 65.
The actor attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before he won the role on the beloved sitcom, but was a few credits short of graduation.
“It’s official!” he wrote on Twitter on Saturday, alongside a photo of him in his cap and gown. “Tassel moved from right to left. I’m a graduate! #UTC #TheaterandSpeech #GoMocs”

Haskins completed the remainder of his courses, earning a theater and speech degree, according to TMZ.
“At 65 years of age I just got my degree” he told TMZ on Monday, Dec. 7. “So the principal gets his degree! About time! You can have your Fall Out Boys, you can have your Lauren Conrads. I’m graduating!”
He also revealed that while the school credited him with “life experience,” he still had to make up the credits by attending classes.
“It’s not honorary, I earned it,” he said. “It’s really nice. You know what I’m gonna put on the cap? ‘Finally!’”
