Taylor Swift subtly made a change to her website that has fans convinced a major surprise is on the way.

Eagle-eyed Swifties noticed on Friday, October 23, that the archive section of the pop star’s website now features a banner with all of her 16 album covers no matter which “era” is clicked. Atop the image is an illustrated confetti activation in the shape of the number “20.”

While Swift, 36, did not publicly address the website tweak, her fans believe it’s an Easter egg for a yet-to-be-announced surprise.

“It’s interesting that it’s happening on the 23rd and not the 24th when debut came out,” one X user tweeted, referring to the 20th anniversary of Swift’s self-titled album release.

Others pondered whether the confetti activation is a clue for an unexpected drop of the re-recorded LPs of Taylor Swift and Reputation. (Swift began rerecording her first six albums in 2019 after allegedly being unable to purchase the masters from Big Machine Records, who sold her discography to Scooter Braun.)

“Oh, debut TV we’ve been waiting for u,” another fan tweeted on Friday, while a third pointed out that Swift’s husband, Travis Kelce, even wore a green hoodie — the hue often associated with the album — on the Wednesday, October 21, episode of his podcast. “Makes sense now haha.”

Swift has not revealed any plans to release a Taylor’s Version of her first studio-length album, which she previously said was complete.

“I’ve completely re-recorded my entire debut album, and I really love how that sounds now,” Swift wrote in a May letter, announcing she reached a deal to buy her masters from Shamrock Capital. “[The new versions of debut and Reputation] can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right, if that would be something you guys would be excited about.”

She continued at the time, “If it happens, it won’t be from a place of sadness and longing for what I could have. It will just be a celebration now.”

Swift further thanked her fans for their tireless support, as proceeds from her Eras Tour helped finance the Shamrock offer.

“To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it,” she gushed. “To my fans, you know how important this has been to me — so much so that I meticulously re-recorded and released four of my albums, calling them ‘Taylor’s Version.’ The passionate support you showed these albums and the success story you turned The Eras Tour into is why I was able to buy back my music.”
