It seems Taylor Swift has found her match in her husband, Travis Kelce, for expertly dropping Easter eggs that left Us none the wiser.
“There are dos and don’ts. I’m never going to plan an Easter egg that ties back to my personal life,” Swift said on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast in August 2025. “It’s always going to be toward music or something that I have coming up. A plan I have coming together. Something that you don’t know I’m saying for a specific reason that you’ll hear later and go back and go, ‘Oh, my God.’”
Swift made her debut on Kelce’s football podcast — hours before he popped the question — to announce her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. In the background of their setup, the couple planted clues about the tracklist on a bookshelf. (The Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs tight end got married in July 2026 inside Madison Square Garden.)
Swift and Kelce’s hijinks haven’t stopped there, continuing as the pop star teased an extended version of the record in September 2026.

A Subtle Change
When Swift announced her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department, she changed her social media profile photos to a black-and-white solo portrait. Fans quickly noticed that Kelce did the same, using an image from his WSJ. Magazine where he talked extensively about the chart-topping performer.
It’s All in the Details
To announce Swift’s podcast appearance, Travis and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast traded their usual pre-show graphic of a guest’s silhouette on a green background to a sparkly orange version. The hue eventually matched the logo on the cover for The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.
Always ‘Keeping It 100’
Before Travis returned for the 2025 NFL season, he shared a handful of offseason highlights with Swift to his Instagram page.
“Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯,” he captioned the 13-carousel post.
While 13 is Swift’s well-documented favorite number, “keep it 100” is also a lyric in her song “The Fate of Ophelia” inspired by Travis. The phrase, stylized like the emoji, was also written on a handheld mirror at a themed Spotify pop-up in New York City ahead of the LP’s release day.
Meet Patient Zero
Swift announced the first new single from The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, “Patient Zero,” in September 2026.
Debuting a limited-drop of a CD variant on her website, the cover image was placed on a gray backdrop with black vines growing out of one corner. Eagle-eyed Swifties quickly noticed that Travis recorded a “New Heights” episode earlier that month in front of a similar backdrop.
“Was Travis egging us with that crazy background?😂” one fan tweeted.
The Hometown Mention
“I’ll give my stamp of the week to Cleveland, baby,” Travis said on his podcast on September 23, 2026, the same day that Swift announced Encore.
While Travis was referring to his Ohio hometown’s NFL team, the Browns, one of Swift’s four bonus songs from The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore is titled “Cleveland!” (The other new tracks are called “Patient Zero,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.”)
Travis has not publicly addressed his Easter eggs, though he has dropped “likes” on his wife’s official social media announcements.
