For Gary Oldman, death is a laughing matter.
The actor, 56, stopped by Conan this week to promote his smash new movie, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but was questioned about his past roles and his overwhelming habit of dying in films.
“We read this statistic that you’re in the top ten of all actors who’ve died in films,” Conan O’Brien told Oldman. “We decided to honor you by making a montage of your death scenes.”
Oldman appeared delighted by the prospect and leaned in to watch himself die on film.
The supercut featured clips from the Oscar nominee’s prolific career, including shots of him as Harry Potter‘s Sirius Black, Hannibal’s Mason Verger, Sin‘s Charlie Strom, and Air Force One‘s Egor Korshunov, dying over and over again.
