He slimed us! Paul Feig, who is directing the female-led Ghostbusters reboot, gave fans of the franchise a little more news about the upcoming film on Wednesday, June 17, when he tweeted a photo of some goopy green goo. You know, the stuff that Slimer, everyone’s favorite pig of a poltergeist, is made of? Not only that, the director revealed that the on-set action kicks off on Thursday.

“And … action! #slimetimestartstomorrow,” he captioned the photo of himself letting the gunk drip from his fingers.

Impressed by how good the slime looks? In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the director noted that he already had a great team behind him for this very special project.

“My whole crew from all my other movies have come aboard, and some really great special effects people have come aboard,” he told the magazine. “I have never really done this level of effects before — and I’m excited!” (As are we!)

This isn’t the first time that Feig has revealed fun facts about the movie via social media, which will star Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones as the ghostbusting foursome originally played by Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. The director nearly broke the Internet when he tweeted that hunky Thor star Chris Hemsworth would play the receptionist, a role portrayed by Annie Potts in the 1984 original.
