Mirren, Mirren, on the wall, who’s the funniest of them all? On Monday, Aug. 4, Jimmy Fallon granted his audience a wish they didn’t know they had — having Helen Mirren answer life’s silliest questions while enclosed in an enchanted mirror a la Snow White’s Evil Queen.
The Tonight Show segment, titled “Mirren, Mirren,” featured the Oscar-winning Brit, 69, dressed as a Queen and answering some of the host’s mundane questions, like “What do you think of Fifty Shades of Grey?”
“The whips and chains are not my style, but who doesn’t love a jolly good spanking once in a while?” Mirren coyly replied.
After the skit, Mirren mocked Fallon’s fake British accent, calling him an “Australian pantomime dame” — a man who dresses up as a woman and does a show for children.
