Holly Madison is returning to TV!
Hugh Hefner's former No. 1 girlfriend is set to start production on her own reality series, Planet Holly, chronicling her life in Las Vegas, on Oct. 12.
Madison, 29, who split from the Playboy mogul, 83, last year and appeared on five seasons of E!'s The Girls Next Door, says her new series will be "good-natured" and "inspiring."
"It's not mean like other reality shows," Madison, currently starring in the Las Vegas revue Peepshow at Planet Hollywood, tells VegasDeluxe.com. "[Planet Holly] will have some docu-drama, but it’s the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a lighthearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler Moore. But it will [still] have an empowering message for women showing that however crazy the ideas you might have, they can be achieved.
And fans of Madison's old series need not worry: she's also in talks to make guest appearances on her old E! series, now centered around Hefner and new twin girlfriends Karissa and Kristina Shannon.
While there is no projected premiere date for Madison's Planet Holly, the Shannon twins will take the Girls Next Door reigns, along with Hef's new No. 1 girlfriend, Crystal Harris, when the new installment premieres Oct. 11.
