Ice T is a man of many talents! The rapper and Law and Order: SVU star displayed his versatility during a hilarious appearance on Thursday, July 30’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — revoicing hit kids’ cartoon shows Care Bears, The Smurfs, and Dora the Explorer.
Introducing the skit, Fallon said he was surprised to discover during the rapper’s last appearance on his show, that Ice T had actually voiced a lot of our favorite cartoons.
“I thought everybody knew that,” replied Ice T, playing along.
The actor, who recently announced he is expecting his first child with wife Coco Austin, then displayed his enviable voice-over talents, giving a distinct gangsta style to a fluffy blue Care Bear, and even Papa Smurf.
Fallon was enjoying every minute of Ice T’s skills, until a more recent cartoon project was shown, featuring the rapper as Dora the Explorer’s cousin Diego.
The clip showed Dora bandaging up a baby jaguar’s paw. “Damn,” a post-puberty Diego commented. “I thought Jimmy Fallon was the only pussy with the broken hand!”
