Bachelor Nation could have a new member!
A source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, who met on Bachelor in Paradise last summer, plan to start their family in the near future. “They’re really excited about having a baby soon,” the insider adds.
After getting engaged during the season 2 finale that filmed in June 2015, the Naturally Jade Cosmetics founder and auto sales manager, both 29, wed in January. Their nuptials aired during an ABC special the following month.
"Jade and Tanner are adorable and a perfect fit,” a second source says. “They really complement each other in their silliness and sense of humor, and they both know what they want in life. It’s like everything happened in order to bring them together.”
The newlyweds appeared on the August 23 episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 3 to prove to the current contestants that finding love on the show is possible. “This place definitely means more to us than probably to anybody,” Roper told the new couples. “This is the story we get to tell our children someday on how we met.” She and Tolbert then spoke to each pair to determine which duo had the best chance on making it out of Paradise — and who deserved their date card.
Babies have always been in the plan for Roper and Tolbert. “We both have the same goals," the one-time Chris Soules suitor told Bustle in February. "And we definitely both want to have children."
Now in the midst of constructing their dream home in Kansas, Roper wrote on Instagram July 29, “Our house building process will be our baby for now, eventually a couple Janner babies to fill our home with joy!"
