Too many cooks in the kitchen? As Jenelle Evans’ custody battle with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith over their son, Kaiser, 22 months, continues to simmer, the former couple have decided to involve Evans’ new boyfriend, David Eason.
In a preview for the Monday, May 2, episode of Teen Mom 2, Griffith, 28, hits up Eason in an attempt to see Kaiser. Evans, 24, dictates her latest beau’s response to her one-time love.
“He did text me and said, ‘When can I see my son?’” Eason tells his girlfriend of Griffith’s message.
“Right now, right now, I want you to text him and be like, ‘Hey, I just saw all this, and we were just discussing about you seeing Kaiser. Have you got his necessities for him yet?’” Evans instructs her man in the clip. “So it doesn’t look like, when we go to court, that we’re ignoring him.”
“Oh, and say, ‘And we need to know the location of where [you] will be staying,’” she adds. “Send it.”
Eason does as he’s told and receives a text from Griffith moments later, which reads: “I have [the necessities] and I will [send you pictures]. Also, I do not feel comfortable telling either one of you where I live. I hope Kaiser is doing great, and once I am able to see my son … I’ll send you a picture of the stuff I have.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Evans and Griffith have been embattled in a bitter custody war over their child.
The MTV starlet, who currently has primary custody of Kaiser, limited Griffith’s visitation with their kid after Griffith allegedly took Kaiser out of the state without permission.
“I said, ‘If you want to see Kaiser bad enough, you can take me to court for visitation because I don’t trust you,’” she told GlamMir in a November 2015 interview.
Evans is also mom of son Jace, 6, who she had with her ex Andrew Lewis in 2009. Her mother, Barbara Evans, has served as Jace’s legal guardian since Evans forfeited custody as a teenager.
