The Night Before actor, 34, absolutely slayed Janet Jackson‘s 1989 hit “Rhythm Nation,” nailing every detail from the outfit (a near exact replica to the one from Jackson’s video) to the choreography, which he and a team of backup dancers executed with stunning precision.

Even Levitt’s competitor on the show, Anthony Mackie, was in awe of the performance. He and host LL Cool J watched, jaws dropped, as JGL’s masterpiece unfolded before them.

Mackie’s rendition of MC Hammer‘s “2 Legit 2 Quit” was impressive, too, but Levitt stole the show — and Mackie knew it. (We love them both, regardless.)

Of course, this isn’t the first time Levitt has dominated a lip sync competition. Back in 2013, he blew viewers away with his epic performances of Elton John‘s “Tiny Dancer” and Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
