Kelly said knock you out!
Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon strikes a pugilistic pose and flashes her super-toned legs in a daring dress in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar.
In a new interview with the mag, the 42-year-old mother of two defends her notorious freak out during a St. John's getaway on the recently concluded season of Housewives.
"I am not crazy. I am unpredictable," she clarifies, adding, "I'm not in therapy." (Bravo's Andy Cohen sees her St. John's debacle a bit differently, telling Harper's Bazaar "I think it was deeply disturbing. It seemed like she had a break of some kind, but I can't say exactly what it was."
Of her frenemies on the show, Bensimon suggests they're both critical and jealous of her: "Whether it's my nail color, my hair color, or the shoes I'm wearing, everything about me bothers them…They want to go to the parties I go to, they want to hang out with me, they want to do the things that I'm doing."
How does the reality star explain herself to her young daughters? "I tell my girls, 'Your mom gets paid to engage in inappropriate behavior.' It's an amazing opportunity for them to see that being mean is not okay. I tell them, 'If you're in a situation like this, walk out. Don't come back with jelly beans.'" The August issue of Harper's Bazaar hits newsstands July 20.
