Back to the ballroom! Kim Zolciak is returning to Dancing With the Stars for its Season 21 finale later this month. The Don't Be Tardy star made the announcement via Instagram on Monday, Nov. 16.
"I'm back at it!!!!! With @tonydovolani. Im so excited to be dancing at the finale next week!" Zolciak, 37, captioned a pic during rehearsals with her pro partner, Tony Dovolani. "What an emotional roller coaster this has been!! What a blessing!!! #DancingShoes."
As previously reported, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum had to leave the competition back in September after suffering a mini stroke. At the time, her doctor didn't clear her to fly, and she missed her performance.
Zolciak's health scare, as she puts it, was a blessing in disguise. Amid her hospitalization, the doctors found that she had a PFO, which is a birth defect that causes a hole in the heart. On Oct. 27, she revealed she had heart surgery.
"My surgery was a success!! I can't wait to be back on my feet 100%! Glad it's over!" she captioned an Instagram selfie at the time. "Quite the whirlwind this last month has been…"
As Us Weekly exclusively reported, Zolciak's post-surgery diet has consisted of protein smoothies, vegetables, grilled chicken fajita lettuce wraps, and turkey burgers.
