One of television’s most famous procedurals is putting New York City’s most iconic bites on the witness stand.
Four unlikely suspects have landed on Law & Order SVU’s most-wanted list — and their rap sheets are stacked with pastrami, bagels, banana pudding and some seriously over-the-top sweets.
The delicious evidence will all be gathered under one roof this October, when Law & Order reopens the doors of its Dun Dun Diner for a two-day return to Manhattan with a spread any New Yorker could pick out of a lineup.
Ess-a-Bagel, Katz’s Deli, Magnolia Bakery and Serendipity3 will report for duty when the pop-up takes over Bill’s Bar & Burger in Rockefeller Center October 9 through October 10 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m..

For Mariska Hargitay, heading back to the precinct as Captain Olivia Benson comes after a particularly glamorous detour. The SVU star traded in her badge for an elegant evening gown – actually, several — Monday night while hosting the 78th annual Emmy Awards.
Hargitay couldn’t make it through one of television’s biggest nights without opening with an investigation. The actress was joined by several castmates, including Ice T and Kelli Giddish, for a pre-taped spoof centered on the whereabouts of one of her most famous gal pals, Taylor Swift.
The mystery didn’t stay unsolved for long, with Swift making a surprise cameo appearance as a rookie detective alongside perhaps the most appropriately named witness of the night, the singer’s very own cat aptly named Olivia Benson.
There is no current evidence on whether Hargitay or her fellow detective co-stars will be making a cameo at the Dun Dun Diner — but there’s plenty on the menu to investigate.
While the exact dishes’ case files have yet to be opened, fans have enough probable cause to arrive hungry, as the four eateries will each serve up their specialty, though the final menu remains sealed for now.
Those looking to take a seat at the scene can pay $30 for the dine-in experience, which includes a featured dish and dessert, plus Law & Order merch and a number of interactive extras. For fans looking for a quicker getaway, there is also a free admission option with giveaways and even a themed photo op.
Both free and paid reservations open Friday, September 18, at 12 P.M. ET and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
