For Jacqueline “Jax” Guelli, love decidedly wasn’t blind.

Warning: This post contains spoilers for season 11 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind.

After sparking an instantaneous pod bond with fellow contestant Scott “Stew” Stewart, Jax, 31, accepted his proposal sight unseen. The couple, per experiment tradition, were only able to meet after Jax said yes.

“I’m most nervous about the physical connection to kind of lock it in ultimately,” Jax said in a confessional before entering the reveal tunnel. “I mean, can you even break up during this? I don’t know.”

While Stew, 34, had “no fears”  meeting Jax and starting their life together, she vocalized that she didn’t feel the same.

“You’re not really what I was expecting, but it makes sense,” Jax explained to her then-fiancé. “It’s a compliment. No, it’s very New England. You’re very New England.”

Just moments after saying goodbye, Jax realized their relationship wasn’t going to last and left the show.

“Jax has just informed us, she does not want to go to Mexico with you,” a producer told Stew in a follow-up confessional. “She asked to go home immediately. We offered her the opportunity to sit down and talk with you. She declined.”

Stew, immediately shocked by Jax’s hasty exit, asked production for clarification about their relationship status.

“She actually asked us not to provide any sort of situation for you to talk with her at this moment,” the producer added, hinting that Jax wanted to break up.

Despite the short-lived engagement, Stew remained hopeful about eventually meeting The One outside of the pods.

“Wow, I guess the feelings were not mutual. It seemed like this really could’ve been something,” he mused. “I would still say that this was a profoundly positive experience. I have no regrets about taking this step. I have no regrets about doing this.”

He concluded, “Life goes on, and I’ll be heading back to Boston, and we’ll see what happens.”

Love Is Blind brought its famed blind dating experiment to Boston for season 11, once again testing whether singletons could fall in love without ever meeting face-to-face. While there have been a number of successful love stories to make it out of the pods, not every pair fares well. Kacie McIntosh and Patrick Suzuki, for example, were infamously only engaged for a few hours during 2025’s season 9.

“He deserves somebody that is so obsessed with him,” Kacie, 34, told the cameras. “I just, unfortunately, don’t think my attraction to him is gonna grow that much, and it sucks.”

The first five episodes of Love Is Blind season 11 are now streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly Wednesdays.
