This looks epic! Warner Bros. released its first teaser trailer on Monday, Dec. 9 for Jupiter Ascending, the upcoming sci-fi fantasy flick from the Matrix filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski, starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum.
In the futuristic flick, Kunis, 30, plays Jupiter Jones, a child born under the night sky — which is a sign that she is destined for greatness. As a grown woman, however, she becomes a janitor who dreams of a bigger life.
Her costar in the film. Tatum, plays a “splice” — a wolf and human hybrid — who comes to earth to protect Jupiter from those who want to harm the possible queen of the universe. As photos attested back in August, Tatum, 33, bleached his hair blonde and sported a matching goatee for his role.
The Wachowskis, who have helmed features like The Matrix and Cloud Atlas, give viewers a glimpse of the storyline which will include plenty of action and a romantic story line between Kunis and Tatum’s characters. (The two share a steamy smooch in the trailer.)
Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne also costar in flick. Jupiter Ascending officially drops on July 25, 2014.
