The “rich bitch” is back! After saying “deuces, baby” to The Real Housewives of Atlanta at the end of Season 7, NeNe Leakes will return for the Bravo series’ eighth season, Us Weekly can confirm. (Bravo has since confirmed the return.)
The Georgia peach, 47 — who had been the sole remaining original cast member — will appear on the show as a guest in several episodes. The same is true for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville, whom Us exclusively revealed will be featured on Season 6 as a guest. (Fellow OG star Sheree Whitfield is also returning to RHOA, but as a full-time cast member.)
Leakes announced her decision to leave RHOA back in June, saying, “After seven seasons of being part of Real Housewives of Atlanta, I can confirm that I am not going to be returning to the show for Season 8. I am grateful to Bravo, Andy Cohen and True Entertainment for giving me the opportunity to show the world NeNe Leakes and sometimes to show them NayNay.”
After making her announcement, Leakes, who landed major acting roles on TV and Broadway over the past several years, also revealed that she will be teaming up with Betty White for ABC’s revival of the ‘50s game show, To Tell the Truth.
Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 premieres on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
