Will he get the final rose this time?
There's a reason why Nick Viall may have been pulling for Chris Soules to choose Whitney Bischoff! It turns out, the reality star couldn't stop gushing about Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe during the farmer's season 19 of The Bachelor, in which she first appeared.
In a shocking twist, it was revealed on Tuesday, May 19, that Viall would be returning to the ABC franchise for a chance to win Bristowe's heart. And it looks like he has a shot. In previous tweets, the Minnesota native seemed to already be falling for the 29-year-old Canadian stunner.
"Kaitlyn is the total package. She will be just fine," Viall said in one tweet on Feb. 23. He added earlier that month: "I like how Kaitlyn carries herself."
Viall, 34, followed Bristowe via Twitter in late January, and didn't let up on his affection for her. "I'm pretty [sure] I would never be bored around Kaitlyn," he wrote at one point. Gushing in March: "Oh and Kaitlyn is incredible."
Viall lost out to Josh Murray in Andi Dorfman's season 10 of The Bachelorette last year. Viall was smitten with the former Assistant District Attorney (he sent her a letter after the defeat!), but raised eyebrows when he talked about their fantasy suite sexcapades during After the Final Rose. Dorfman, 28, has stayed quiet about Viall since — and that includes during Tuesday night's bombshell preview.
Dorfman – who split with Murray in January – made no mention of Viall's return via Twitter. She did, however, reveal which of Bristowe's suitors she's crushing on. "Dear @kaitlynbristowe if you love me, and America, please don't pick Ben. But if you do, see if he has a brother? #TheBachelorette," she joked. "If Ryan Gosling and Calvin Harris miraculously had a baby….#ShawnB #TheBachelorette."
