Rebel Wilson channeled the Disney villain Ursula for some not so poor unfortunate souls during The Little Mermaid LIVE at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, June 4.

The Pitch Perfect actress, 36, documented getting ready for the big night on her Instagram account. She wore heavy purple eye makeup, a towering blonde wig and an off-the-shoulder black dress instead of the sea witch’s tentacles.

Wilson received a round of applause for her singing chops and theatrical performance of “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” She later joined the rest of the star-studded cast backstage afterward for group photos. Some of the other celebs who rocked out included Sara Bareilles (Ariel), Darren Criss (Eric), Tituss Burgess (Sebastian), John Stamos (Chef Louis), Norm Lewis (Triton) and Joshua Colley (Flounder).

“Sooooo much fun working with this incredible cast! And singing such incredible material!” Wilson captioned an Instagram photo with her costars. “Thanks Norm, Josh, Darren, Sara, [violinist] Sandy [Cameron], Titus and John and Thanks Alan Menken for being such a lovely genius x ps final show Monday at the Hollywood Bowl!!”

Last year, the Aussie star revealed that she’s actually related to Walt Disney. “I’m a distant relative of Walt Disney,” she said during the MTV Movie Awards press conference. “I just need a few billion dollars to create my own theme park in Australia to rival Disneyland.”
