Look away, Olitz fans! Scandal returns from its winter hiatus on February 11, and a new promo shows Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) bouncing back quite nicely after her split from Fitz (Tony Goldwyn).
The ABC drama’s fifth season returns after a six-month time jump, with the crisis manager and the commander in chief no longer together. Instead, things are heating up between her and Jake (Scott Foley), as they are wont to do.
“I don’t like waiting,” the hunky former Pentagon operative tells Ms. Pope, who fires back, “Then don’t.”
The sexual tension apparently is too much for the pair of exes to resist, as the promo shows her jumping into his arms to make out with him. The more things change …
The footage ends with Olivia saying that she doesn’t miss the president, which is immediately followed by her mysteriously giving Fitz a call.
