We'll take Badass TV First Ladies for $1000, Alex! Scandal star Bellamy Young competed on Celebrity Jeopardy! on Thursday, May 14 (aka Scandal season 4 finale day!) and not only did she win, she absolutely slayed the show's Literature category.

Young, a Yale grad, competed against Frozen star Josh Gad and Good Morning America's Ginger Zee on the long-running quiz show, joining Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, actor Neil Flynn, and CNN anchor John Berman as the week's winners.

The woman also known as Mellie Grant donated her $50,000 winnings to the charity Operation Blankets of Love, an animal welfare organization that improves the well-being of homeless animals.

In addition to knowing her literature — from Jane Austen to F. Scott Fitzgerald — the brunette beauty also knew trivia about other First Ladies, comedians, and Stephen Sondheim. She should know her musical theater history, considering she began her career on Broadway.
