Not only did Amber Portwood's fiancé react to Farrah Abraham's shade, but Maci Bookout got shocking news about her unexpected pregnancy and Catelynn Lowell's relationship with her biological child was put in jeopardy. But all of that is nothing compared to Farrah, who spent the first half of this episode talking about her colonoscopy. Blessed!
Farrah Visits Her Baby Daddy's Grave, Avoids Colonoscopy
Aww, Farrah! MTV's most controversial Teen Mom had a superemotional episode thanks to visiting the grave of her ex-boyfriend (and father of her daughter, Sophia) Derek Underwood. "It was one of our best visits out there," Farrah told her mom before breaking down into happy tears. "This is what I would have been doing if I wasn't me right now. I would have been hopefully married with Derek, with Sophia. All I wanted to do was own my own restaurant and live here."
In less sentimental news, Farrah almost got a colonoscopy this week — but good news: She didn't have to go through with the procedure. Viewers, on the other hand, had to endure hearing Farrah's mom say, "It starts out pretty good … [then] your ass explodes and you cannot control anything." Good times!
Maci Finds Out Her Baby's Gender, Ryan Reacts Hilariously
In case you hadn't heard, Maci found out she was pregnant with her third child — and get this: Turns out she was a whopping five months along. The Southern belle and her fiancé, Taylor McKinney, checked in with a doctor and found out they were expecting a boy — and her ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards' reaction was priceless. To quote: "Dang, I thought you was getting fat, I didn't wanna say anything. That's crazy. Well, congratulations again. I feel like I just congratulated you. You'll have three kids and you'll still look good."
Meanwhile, Maci (who decided to quit her job thanks to one too many responsibilities) had this to say about her surprise pregnancy: "I told Taylor, 'At least everyone will know we have a great sex life.'"
Catelynn and Tyler Get a Major Ultimatum
There's trouble in paradise for Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra! MTV's sweetest couple got a surprise call from Teresa Davis, the adoptive mother of their biological daughter, Carly. And bummer news: Teresa doesn't want Catelynn or Tyler talking about them on MTV anymore. Their reaction? To spend this entire episode doing just that.
While Catelynn seemed to understand Teresa's point of view and told her, "My relationship with you comes before my relationship with MTV," Tyler wasn't as forgiving. "This is what I do, I share my life story, and I'm sorry, but the kid that you're raising is a part of my story," Tyler told his dad. "Unfortunately, if that costs me, you know, the ultimate cost, then that's just what it is."
Catelynn seemed seriously concerned that Teresa would cut them off from Carly, but Tyler said that wasn't their problem. "If that happens, I'm not gonna have to deal with the hurt and pain. They're gonna have to look at their daughter, and look at the hurt and pain in her eyes and explain to her why she's hurting. I will never silence what I have to say, and what I feel, and my opinion. It won't happen." Fair 'nuff.
Amber's Boyfriend Has Some Harsh Words for Farrah
Remember last week when Amber found out that her fiancé, Matt Baier, had been flirting up a storm with Farrah before they even met? Amber told Farrah that she called off their wedding, but this week she seemed to have a change of heart. Oh, and a giant new engagement ring …
"She's a habitual line-stepper — any attention is good attention as far as she's concerned," Matt said of Farrah. "She's dead to me right now."
Amber also seemed annoyed with Farrah, but confirmed that her wedding was still on hold thanks to the fact that she hadn't met Matt's family. But good news for people who are Team Matt: He found a solution to that problem by introducing Amber to his cousin Michael, who totally won over Amber.
"I don't love him for his past, I love him for who he is today," she said after their visit. "It's hard for people to comprehend that when all of his crazy exes are coming out with these insane stories." Whatever you say, Ambs!
